Smith's to Continue as SeaWolves Official Hot Dog
The SeaWolves are pleased to announce a new, three-year partnership with the Smith Provision Company to serve its quality brand of hot dogs and sausages at Jerry Uht Park. Under the new agreement, Smith's will continue to be recognized as the "Official Hot Dog of the SeaWolves" through the 2017 season.
"Erie fans love Smith's Hot Dogs and there's no better place to enjoy one than at a SeaWolves game," SeaWolves President Greg Coleman said. "Smith's is known for quality products, and we're proud to work with our food and beverage partner, Professional Sports Catering, to serve Erie's favorite hot dogs at Jerry Uht Park."
Smith Provision Company is family-owned and has been a staple in the Erie community since 1927. Smith's has been the official provider of hot dogs at Jerry Uht Park since 1995.
Under the agreement, SeaWolves fans will continue to enjoy Smith's products at ballpark concession stands and the Smith's Wiener Race, a fan-favorite promotion that has become a game day tradition at Jerry Uht Park. Smith's will also retain naming rights to a left field concession stand, the Smith's Sausage Shack, which features a variety of Smith's offerings.
"SeaWolves Baseball and Smith's Hot Dogs are two of Erie's favorite things, and we are exceedingly proud to put our premium products on the field and in the stands, in our hometown," added Mike Weber, President of Smith Provision Co., Inc.
The SeaWolves will open the 2015 season on Thursday, April 9 against the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at 6:35 p.m. Ticket packages are available by calling (814) 456-1300 or by visiting Jerry Uht Park.
