The scoring got started early for the Dust Devils (13-9) when in the second inning
Tri-City would add to the lead in the next inning after back-to-back singles by Tyler Benson and
Swarmer would finish the next two innings without allowing another run, holding the Dust Devils to three runs (two of them earned) on five hits, with just one walk and six strikeouts.
The Ems (11-11) would come back and tie the game in the fifth off Hawk starter

It would stay tied until the seventh, when Benson doubled off new pitcher Brian Glowicki, who was making his pro ball debut. A pair of strikeouts brought up Almanzar, who singled to center to score Benson and give Tri-City a 4-3 lead.
Eugene tried to rally in the eighth when
Glowicki was not the only Ems pitcher to make his debut on the night, as 18th rounder Casey Ryan pitched in the sixth and allowed just one hit on the night.
