Emeralds Lead From Start, AquaSox Lose, 7-4
Everett, WA - The Everett AquaSox lost the fourth game of the five-game series against the Eugene Emeralds Sunday afternoon, 7-4. With the Emerald victory, they forced the rubber match in the series. Everett was held to six hits, led by Geoandry Montilla who had half of the team's hits.

Eugene strung together four runs over the course of the first three innings, Sunday. In the top of the second,
Caraballo continued to struggle in the third inning, walking the first batter he faced, throwing a wild pitch, hitting a batter, and scattering three hits.
Caraballo couldn't get a handle on things in the fifth inning, allowing two more Emeralds runs to score. The right-hander allowed back-to-back-to-back doubles to Eugene's
Everett did eventually manage to cut into the six-run deficit, however, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Eugene bounced right back, though in the top of the sixth, knocking a home run to right-center field off the bat of Fennell.

With two men on base in the bottom of the ninth inning, Everett had the game-tying run at home plate. It wasn't meant to be, however, as the AquaSox would ground into a double play and lose the contest, 7-4 Emeralds.
Monday the Everett AquaSox will conclude the five-game series against the Eugene Emeralds at 7:05 PM. It will be Half Price Fred Meyer Monday in Everett. Fans can pay half price with a coupon from participating Fred Meyer locations. After the contest, the AquaSox will head out on a six-game road trip, taking on the Spokane Indians and the Tri-City Dust Devils.
