Most embarrassing moment in sports: Having our dog Frango participate in our race the mascot promotion during one of our Bark in The Park events. Instead of chasing Frank the Hot Dog around the bases she started chasing the ball the players were using to warm up. Once she figured out that she could not successfully catch the ball she stole the rosin bag and started running around the field. Both myself and my wife Elysia who was 7 months pregnant at the time tried to catch Frango so we can start the game. The inning was delayed about 3 minutes until we were able to entice Frango with a hot dog and carted her off the field. The fans, players, and staff truly enjoyed Frango's antics even The Herald and Seattle Times wrote about it. It was amusing but still embarrassing.
Hobbies in the off-season: Playing and watching hockey
Best Moment in Sports: Moving to Everett and working for the AquaSox.
How did you get started working in sports? I did an internship with the NHL Head Office in Montreal. From there went to the Baseball Winter Meetings in Los Angeles in 1990 to pursue an entry level position in Minor League Baseball. Was able to secure a position in the New York Penn League with the Welland Pirates where I was a Sales Representative.
