INF Andrés Blanco (2008-2009)
Andres Blanco suited up for Iowa in 166 games after playing three seasons with Kansas City. During his time in Des Moines, Blanco hit .295 with 25 doubles, seven home runs and 65 RBI. He went on to spend part of the 2009 season with Chicago (NL) before playing the next six seasons with Texas and Philadelphia. In 10 seasons of Major League play, Blanco owns a career .256 average (305H/1191AB) with 73 doubles, 18 home runs, and 109 RBI. 
INF Ronny Cedeño (2005, 2007)
Over parts of two seasons, Ronny Cendeño amassed a .357 average in 532 at-bats with 29 doubles, 18 home runs and 109 RBI during a 140-game stretch with Iowa. Cendeño spent most of his Iowa tenure split with Chicago, playing 41 games with the Big League team in 2005, and 38 games during the 2007 season. The middle infielder spent the entirety of 2006 with Chicago, where he hit .245 (131H/534AB) with 18 doubles, seven triples, six home runs and 41 RBI over the span of 151 games. In 10 Major League seasons, the Venezuelan native holds a .245 average (629H/2565AB) with 116 doubles, 20 triples, 40 home runs and 239 RBI. 
INF Steve Clevenger (2009, 2011-2013)
Steve Clevenger suited up for Iowa over the span of three seasons, in which he amassed a .365 average in 381 at-bats. Clevenger spent most of his time with Iowa during the 2009 season, when he played 68 games with a .265 average, 12 doubles and 26 RBI. Throughout the infielder's four stints, he made several Major League appearances for Chicago (NL) and Baltimore-all part of a six season MLB career (.227/.284/.324/.608 in 484AB). 
OF/SS Buck Coats (2006-2007)
Buck Coats logged a career total 905 at-bats in 247 games as an I-Cub-amassing a .293 batting average with 42 doubles, 18 home runs and 110 RBI. In three MLB seasons, Coats saw playing time in 46 games and batted .193 in 57 at-bats with Chicago (NL), Cincinnati and Toronto. 
RHP Ryan Dempster (2004, 2007)
Prior to a 16-season MLB career, right-hander Ryan Dempster logged 21.0 innings for the Iowa Cubs, in which he accrued a 3.86 ERA (9ER) with a 1-1 record. Dempster went on to play parts of five seasons with Florida (NL), two with Cincinnati, one a-piece with Texas and Boston, and a career-long nine seasons with Chicago (NL). As a Cub, the Canadian native threw 1182.2 innings in 374 games (120 starts), with a 3.74 ERA and 62-61 record. During the 2007 season, Dempster made a short visit to Des Moines, tossing 2.0 innings of one-hit ball. In total, the right-hander owns a 4.35 ERA (1154ER/2387IP) with a 132-133 record. 
OF/1B Jason Dubois (2004-2005, 2008-2010)
Jason Dubois made a five-season stay in Des Moines, logging 1,139 innings over 352 games. During his tenure, the outfielder/first baseman hit .311 (354H/1139AB) with 69 doubles, 88 home runs and 270 RBI. The 2004 season was both his longest and most successful as an I-Cub, hitting .316 (122H/386AB) in 109 games, with 76 runs, 26 doubles, 31 home runs and 99 RBI. Dubois played two seasons at the Big-League level, hitting .233 with 12 doubles, 10 home runs and 29 RBI. 
INF Mike Fontenot (2005-2007)
Over the span of three seasons, Mike Fontenot amassed 952 at-bats in 277 games--good for an Iowa-career .295 average, 20 home runs and 109 RBI. The former LSU Tiger played parts of seven seasons at the Major League level, with five of them spent in Chiacgo (NL)--hitting a career.265 (374H/1413AB) with 86 doubles, 27 home runs and 163 RBI. 
OF Sam Fuld (2007-2010)
Sam Fuld spent parts of four seasons in Iowa, with several stints with Chicago sprinkled in between. As an I-Cub, Fuld saw action in 230 games with a .273 average. The Stanford alum's longest tenure as an I-Cub came in 2010, when he played in 112 games and hit .272 with 15 doubles, four home runs and 27 RBI. As a Major Leaguer, he amassed eight seasons with Chicago (NL) Tampa Bay, Minnesota and Oakland-owning a career .227 average (308H/1354AB) in 599 games…other accolades include representing Israel in the World Baseball Classic, and is now part of the front office for Philadelphia.
LHP Rich Hill (2005-2006, 2008)
Rich Hill suited up for Iowa during the 2005, 2006, 2008 seasons, where he tossed a combined 191.0 innings with a 15-6 win/loss record. En-route to a 7-1 2006 season with 100.0 innings, the lefty struck out 135 and walked 21 with a 1.80 ERA. In 14 Major League seasons, Hill owns a 4.04 ERA (343ER/765IP) with 803 strikeouts and 323 walks. He is currently in his fifth season with Los Angeles, and has previously pitched for Boston, Oakland, Baltimore, New York (AL), Cleveland and Chicago (NL). During his four seasons with Chicago, Hill appeared in 64 games, starting 57 of those contests with a 4.37 ERA. 
1B/OF Micah Hoffpauir (2004-2010)
During a seven-season tenure with the I-Cubs, Micah Hoffpauir amassed a .293 average in 1,760 at-bats. The first baseman/outfielder saw three seasons of Major League action with the Cubs, where he hit .251 and drove in 48 over 162 games. Hoffpauir is one of two I-Cubs to hit four home runs in a game (Wade Rowdon), which he accomplished on Aug. 9, 2008. His 2008 .362 batting average ranks second-best for an Iowa single season, and is first in single-season OPS and slugging at 1.145 and .752, respectively. He also holds the fourth-longest hitting streak for an Iowa season at 22.  
3B/1B Casey McGehee (2006-2008)
Casey McGehee played in parts of three seasons for the Iowa Cubs. McGehee's best year with the I-Cubs came in 2008 when he batted .296 hitting with 30 doubles, 12 homers and drove in 92 runs. After Iowa, McGehee played in 850 MLB Games--his longest tenure came with the Milwaukee Brewers from 2009-2011. Over the course of his MLB career, McGehee played for Milwaukee, Florida, Chicago (NL), San Francisco, Pittsburg, New York (AL) and Detroit. 
OF Felix Pie (2006-2008)
During his time in Iowa, Felix Pie hit .310 with 155 RBI in three seasons. As a highly touted minor league prospect, Pie played in 281 games in parts of three seasons with the I-Cubs. Pie appeared in 425 games in the major leagues across six seasons; seeing time with Baltimore, Chicago (NL) and Pittsburg. While in the majors, Pie batted a career high .274 with the Orioles in 2010.
UTL Chad Meyers (1999-2001)
Chad Meyers logged 256 career games played with the Iowa Cubs over parts of three seasons. Meyers collected a .307 batting average with a .410 on-base percentage during his Iowa Cubs tenure. Meyers mainly saw time with the Chicago Cubs, where he played in a career high 43 games during the 1999 season.
RHP Mark Prior (2002, 2004-2006)
Mark Prior only made six starts in 33.4 innings pitched over parts of four years for the Iowa Cubs. In his best outing, he threw 6.2 innings pitched and only giving up a run. Prior is most known for his magical run with the 2003 Chicago Cubs. During that season, Prior complied an 18-6 record and posted a 2.43 ERA en-route to the NLCS. He finished that year third in the Cy Young voting and ninth in the MVP race.
RHP Jeff Samardzjia (2008-2010)
Jeff Samardzija pitched in three seasons for the I-Cubs. He tallied 38 starts and appeared in 59 games while in Iowa. Samardzija threw a full year for the I-Cubs in 2010. He posted a 11-3 record through 111.1 innings and fanned 102 during that year. He was drafted by the Cubs and even came up through the Cubs system until he was shipped to Oakland as part of the Addison Russell deal during the 2014 season. Samardzija has pitched in an All-Star game and currently plays for the San Francisco Giants. 
UTL Bobby Scales (2008-2011)
Bobby Scales played in 399 games in parts of four seasons with the I-Cubs. During his tenure with Iowa, Scales batted .293 with a .404 on-base percentage. He hit 15 home runs during his 2009 campaign, marking his personal best at any level. Scales in known for playing in 12 minor league seasons until making his long-awaited debut with the Chicago Cubs in late 2011.
C Geovany Soto (2005-2007, 2012)
Geovany Soto tore up the PCL during his final full year with the Iowa Cubs in 2007. Soto's slash line of .353/.424/.652 helped the I-Cubs finish 79-65 for a second place finish in the PCL. He also crushed 29 homers and 109 RBI to finish an impressive stint in Iowa. Soto went on to play for five Major League teams over a 13-year MLB career. He was named the 2008 MLB Rookie of the Year and has one All-Star game appearance to his resume.
RHP Carlos Zambrano (2000-2002, 2010)
Carlos Zambrano pitched in four different seasons for the Iowa Cubs. His most impressive year came in 2001 when he went 10-5 with a 3.88 ERA through 25 starts. He fanned 155 through 150.2 innings pitched. Zambrano was seen sparingly during his final two years in Iowa, only making three starts in 13 innings pitched. He is most known for his outgoing personality with the Cubs, and during his 11 years with the team he was a three-time All-Star and posted a sub four ERA in nine straight seasons.
