Principal Park to feature two holiday fireworks shows

Independence Day shows to be held July 2 and 3 following the game

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Cubs will celebrate Independence Day with two spectacular fireworks shows on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3. The shows will begin immediately following both 7:08 p.m. CT contests as the I-Cubs host the Round Rock Express.

 

"Anyone who has been to our Friday fireworks shows during the season knows the ballpark is one of the most fun and unique places to take in a fireworks performance," said Iowa Cubs President/General Manager Sam Bernabe. "The Iowa Cubs are thrilled to be able to turn the spectacle up a notch for two amazing nights this season to celebrate our nation's independence."
