- In his third start since getting optioned to Iowa,
Hayden Wesneski spun five scoreless innings while striking out eight. It marked his longest start since May 20, also against Indianapolis. His eight strikeouts set a season high. - The Indians did not have a single at-bat with runners in scoring position tonight, with only one player reaching second base.
- In his second game of major league rehab,
Nick Madrigal went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a strikeout. The infielder is now hitting .468 in his 10 total games with Iowa this year.
