Solid Outings From Tseng: Tonight's starting pitcher, Jen-Ho Tseng, struggled mightily in the beginning of the season. However, The two-time Cubs Minor League Pitcher of the Year has been better in his last starts. Tseng's best start came against the Omaha Storm Chasers on May 20 throwing seven innings and giving up two runs while fanning nine.

Weekend Walks: I-Cubs pitchers did not walk a Baby Cakes batter yesterday. This was the first game the I-Cubs hadn't walked anyone since August 27 of last season.

Mr. Durable: Taylor Davis has played in 54 straight innings for the Iowa Cubs. Davis has caught the last five out of six games, and played first base the game he did not catch.
