Rain postpones Jumbo Shrimp and M-Braves Sunday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Rain and inclement weather postponed Sunday's game between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Mississippi Braves at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The game is scheduled to be made up when the Braves return Jacksonville Aug. 30-Sept. 3 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Regular individual tickets for Sunday's game may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game.
Sunday marked the 11th scheduled date - seventh at home - the Jumbo Shrimp did not complete an official game due to rain. Tickets from the following rain-impacted dates may be exchanged at the box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game:

UP NEXT: The Jumbo Shrimp will open a five-game series in Pensacola at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday. Jacksonville will return home to open a five-game series with the Birmingham Barons at 6:05 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19. Gates open at 5 p.m. for Southpaw's Birthday, with local mascots on hand and a Pregame Candy Drop in the outfield presented by Jax Refrigeration. Families can play catch on the field, followed by player autographs on Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday. Kids activities will be in the Wolfson Children's Hospital Kids Zone, and after the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases. The game is presented by Easy 102.9.
