JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Rain and inclement weather suspended Saturday's game between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Jackson Generals with the Generals ahead 1-0 in the top of first inning at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The game will resume at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday with Sunday's scheduled contest to be played as a seven-inning affair immediately after.

Fans can exchange regular individual tickets for Saturday's game at the Jumbo Shrimp box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining regular season home game.

Pavin Smith walked against Jumbo Shrimp starter Dustin Beggs with one out in the top of the first. After Smith moved to second on a ground out, Jeffrey Baez notched an RBI single to make it 1-0 Jackson. After a walk, the game went into delay before getting suspended. When play resumes on Sunday, the Generals will start with runners on first and second and two outs.

Saturday's winning raffle number of 2084708023 won a prize of $250.

Gates open at 2 p.m. on Sunday for the first Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday of the season. Each Sunday also features free face painting, balloon animals and popular kids show and movie characters roaming the park. "Paw Patrol's" Chase and Sky will be around on Sunday at the Baseball Grounds and following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.

Sunday's contest is also Kids Opening Day, as the Jumbo Shrimp will welcome kids to take over the ballpark.
