JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville starter Jordan Yamamoto pitched six strong innings on Wednesday, but the Jumbo Shrimp were blanked 2-0 by the Biloxi Shuckers at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
Yamamoto (2-4) surrendered just two runs on five hits, striking out six without walking a batter. However, Biloxi (20-20) starter Bowden Francis (1-3) went six shutout innings to earn the win. Francis ceded just two hits and two walks and struck out eight.

Weston Wilson launched his 10th home run of the season, nine of which have come against Jacksonville (14-26), to make it 1-0 Shuckers in the fourth.
An inning later, Luis Aviles Jr. singled and stole second before moving to third on a wild pitch. Robie Rojas singled him in to stretch the advantage to 2-0.
Luke Barker got the final two outs of the game for his third save.

Thursday's winning raffle number of 2044013006 won a prize of $151.
The Jumbo Shrimp begin a five-game set against the Montgomery Biscuits with Thursday's 7:05 p.m. first pitch from the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
