The International League North-leading Lehigh Valley IronPigs have released their schedule for the 2019 season.
The home schedule at Coca-Cola Park features 70 games, 32 weekend contests, a number of holiday games, nine Iron Rail Rivalry games against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and a team-record 11 home dates vs. the Syracuse Chiefs.
Coca-Cola Park will host a game on Mother's Day (May 12 vs. Indianapolis), Memorial Day (May 27 vs. Buffalo), Father's Day (June 16 vs. Columbus) and Independence Day (July 4 vs. Pawtucket).
Lehigh Valley opens its 140-game campaign on Thursday, April 4, with a 7:05 p.m. contest against the Rochester Red Wings. The opening homestand features seven games - four against Rochester and three against the RailRiders.
Those RailRiders, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, will make three trips to Coca-Cola Park in 2019, playing three games on each visit. The Iron Rail Rivalry contests at Coca-Cola Park will be April 8-10, June 28-30 and August 23-25 to conclude the Pigs' final homestand of 2019. Lehigh Valley will also play nine road contests vs. its in-state rivals.
The Pigs will face the Pawtucket Red Sox, Boston's Triple-A affiliate, eight times at Coca-Cola Park in the months of June and July. The PawSox visit for two games on June 5-6, four leading into the All-Star Break on July 4-7 and a final two on July 29-30.
The Syracuse Chiefs will make a record number of trips to Minor League Baseball's finest venue in 2019. The Chiefs will play their 11 games at Coca-Cola Park on April 29-May 2, May 21-23 and August 19-22. A 10-game plan featuring the majority of the Pigs' contests vs. Syracuse is available here.
In addition to facing each IL North team at least eight times at Coca-Cola Park, the IronPigs will host each IL South and IL West squad exactly three times at home in 2019.
Most Monday-through-Friday contests will begin at 7:05 p.m. with the following exceptions: May 2 (10:35 a.m. vs. Syracuse), May 8 (10:35 a.m. vs. Durham), May 27 (Memorial Day, 1:35 p.m. vs. Buffalo) and July 30 (11:35 a.m. vs. Pawtucket). Saturday contests are all scheduled to begin at 6:35 p.m. with Sunday contests, except Memorial Day Weekend (May 26 6:35 p.m. vs. Buffalo) will begin at 1:35 p.m.

In conjunction with today's schedule reveal, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs have announced the dates for their nine-game Bacon, USA, memberships. Nine game plans will go on sale to the general public at the ticket office and by phone next Monday, August 20 at 10 a.m. Online orders for nine-game plans will begin Tuesday, August 21.

Individual game tickets will go on sale during the team's annual "Pig Day" celebration, scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2019.
