Pigs to pay tribute to PA Dutch with Fastnachts Night

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are paying tribute to Pennsylvania Dutch in a special way for one night only on Saturday, June 6 when they take the field against the Norfolk Tides. IronPigs players will be wearing a special cap that features a Fastnacht mascot. The caps are a salute to the famous donut that is enjoyed by many before the Lenten season begins.

In conjunction with the announcement of Fastnachts Night, from Tuesday, February 4 until Friday, February 21, fans will be able to purchase a special Fastnachts themed package through ironpigsbaseball.com. Plain, Glazed and Powdered Fastnachts will be available for purchase along with a game-ticket and a Fastnachts cap. The following packages are available:

For fans who are ordering Fastnachts, all orders must be completed by Friday, February 21. Fastnachts will be available for pickup on Monday, February 24 from 4-7 pm at the Majestic Clubhouse Store. Fans can also pickup their Fastnachts order on Tuesday, February 25 from 6 am-6 pm at the Majestic Clubhouse Store. Overnight shipping is available for an additional $25 and will be scheduled to arrive on Fastnacht Day, February 25.   
Fastnachts night will feature a special cap raffle. The night will commemorate and recognize the region's Pennsylvania Dutch traditions with fun promotions and food specials.
