The Philadelphia Phillies are in the World Series for the first time since 2009. The Phillies are looking to win the World Series for the first time since 2008, when they defeated the Tampa Bay Rays. This magical run for the Phillies has been attributed to outstanding play from all three phases of the game such as pitching, defense, and timely hitting.
