IronPigs to celebrate Hispanic Heritage for five games in 2021

The Lehigh Valley Coquis will take the field on five separate occasions this season

Allentown, Pennsylvania (12 April 2020) – The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will celebrate Hispanic Heritage presented by PA Pork during five games at Coca-Cola Park this season. During those contests, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs will pay homage to the small, native frog and national symbol to Puerto Rico.

The IronPigs will wear “Coquis” caps and jerseys that feature the Puerto Rican flag. The official “Coquis” on-field cap with the flag of Puerto Rico, “Coquis” replica jerseys, “Coquis” tees for men, women, and children are available for purchase at ShopIronPigs.com. Fans will also be able to purchase “Coquis” masks and an assortment of bright and colorful “Coquis” festival caps.

The Hispanic Heritage dates for the upcoming season are:

· Wednesday, May 5 at 7:05 p.m.

· Wednesday, June 23 at 7:05 p.m. (1,500 fans 17 and under will receive a Youth Coquis Cap presented by United States Cold Storage)

· Saturday, July 10 at 6:35 p.m. (Fireworks presented by Toyota and 2,500 fans 18 and older will receive an Adult Coquis Cap presented by PA Pork)

· Friday, August 27 at 7:05 p.m. (Fireworks and 2,500 fans 18 and older will receive a Pint Glass presented by Hatfield)

· Friday, September 17 at 7:05 p.m. (Fireworks presented by PPL Electric Utilities and 1,500 fans 17 and under will receive a Coquis Youth Jersey presented by Capital BlueCross)

Tickets are available for purchase at ironpigsbaseball.com starting at $8. The IronPigs celebration will include Hispanic-themed music, entertainment, and food options. Arroz con Gandules and Pernil platters will be available on the concourse, as well as Pinchos de Cerdo, Pastelillos, and Empanadillas – while supplies last!
