Derby Day to be held Saturday, May 6

Allentown, Pennsylvania (21 March 2023) – Wear your derby best and spend the day sipping mint juleps inside Coca-Cola Park as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs host their first-ever Derby Day on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will begin at 4 p.m. with VIP Hour kicking things off. General admission will begin at 5 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Bluegrass E Boro Bandits throughout the day.

General admission attendees can enjoy their first drink on the IronPigs and can take part in fun activities throughout the day such as live music, lawn games, Bourbon and wine tasting and contests such as prettiest hat, best dressed, etc. IronPigs concessions will be open with Kentucky derby themed menu items available for purchase.

VIP attendees will enjoy a one hour cocktail party with two beverages of your choice, Kentucky derby themed hor d’oeuvres and appetizers.

Tickets are on sale now at mlbtickets.com. VIP tickets are $45, General Admission tickets are $25, children (3-12) are $10 and children under 2 are free. Each ticket includes admission into the event, access to the fun activities mentioned above and access to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. All sales inside the ballpark gates are cashless.
