BRADENTON, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders started off the second game of the series against the Fort Myers Miracle with a bang, and rode the offensive wave through a rain delay to victory on Saturday night. In front of 4,024 fans on Halfway to Halloween at LECOM Park, both fans and players alike had to endure a 54 minute rain delay that began with one out in the home side of the fifth inning.

Tyler Gaffney led off the bottom of the first inning with his first long ball of the year on a soaring drive to left field, and Cam Vieaux backed up the offense as the lefty was solid in his five innings of work. Vieaux finished his night after 73 pitches including five strikeouts when the skies opened up with the Marauders batting in the fifth, a break which paused the game for just under an hour.

Both sides traded two runs each in the sixth and another run each in the seventh as Bradenton kept a two run cushion throughout the entirety of the game. Arden Pabst rolled out another multi-hit game as the catcher finished two for four with a pair of runs scored. Adrian Valerio knocked his third home run of the year, a solo blast in the seventh, that also extended his team lead in RBIs to 11.

Michael Wallace earned his second win of the year, spinning two complete innings after the rain delay, and Ronny Agustin completed his third save in as many tries, throwing the final two innings and amassing three strikeouts.

Bradenton finishes their three game series with the Fort Myers Miracle on Sunday with a day game at 1:00 pm. RHP Eduardo Vera will get the ball for the Marauders and will be opposed by RHP Clark Beeker for the Miracle.
