AutoZone Park to Host Two Hiring Events for Seasonal Staff
AutoZone Park will host two hiring events in February for seasonal staff for the 2020 season.
Monday, Feb. 3 | 5 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 11 | 5 to 7 p.m.
Hiring events are held at AutoZone Park (198 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103). Job seekers will enter through the main gates of AutoZone Park and take the elevator to the Club Level. Job seekers will fill out an application before proceeding to an open interview station for the desired Event Staff position.
All new hires must be at least 18 years of age and successfully pass a background check and drug screening. All positions are part-time, paid hourly.
All positions require employees to be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Ushers: Ushers should be outgoing, enthusiastic, and eager to assist Guests with whatever they may need. Usher Supervisor: Usher Supervisors will assist guests and support the ushers in a designated zone of the stadium. Supervisors must familiarize themselves with and help enforce AutoZone Park's ground rules for Guests and other policies for Guest safety. Supervisors will have a radio and must maintain open communication with Dispatch, other supervisors, and Front Office personnel. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Most positions require standing for long periods of time and are also outside in the heat. Shifts will typically last from four-five hours, but can run longer or shorter.
Field Crew: Responsible for maintaining the playing surface at the award winning AutoZone Park. We are looking for for detail oriented people who enjoy working with their hands, being outside, and don't mind getting a little dirty. Responsibilities include maintaining mounds/plates, batting practice setup/tear down, game set up for both baseball and soccer, and assisting with converting the field to and from baseball and soccer. Day and night shifts are available, typically six hours in length.
Bat Boys/Girls/Clubhouse Personnel: Responsible for setting up/breaking down batting practice, shagging foul balls during batting practice, setting up/breaking down dugouts and bullpens, collecting bats and balls during the game, assisting umpires, trainers and clubhouse personnel, and more. Averages five-plus hours per game.
Camera Operator: Responsible for capturing live fan shots, game play, fan engagement elements, host stand ups, and more during all Memphis Redbirds/Memphis 901 FC home games. Must know how to operate HD cameras and understand the basics of exposure, focusing, and composition.
Associates should be outgoing and willing to talk to guests that enter the Team Store or Kiosks. They are responsible for Team Store set-up, conversion between teams, running a cash register, folding apparel and any other Team Store needs. Providing great customer service to anyone that comes into the Team Store or Kiosk is a must.
Responsible for quickly and accurately completing ticket transactions for a designated Box Office window. Must be able to handle cash, answer phones and provide premium customer service to all fans. Shifts are three-five hours per game.
Responsible for ingesting camera feeds and monitoring the best angles for replays during each home game. Must have knowledge of replay technology and equipment. Must have knowledge of MiLB/USL replay rules and restrictions.

Team members need to be outgoing and feel comfortable in front of large crowds and in one-on-one settings to interact with our guests and provide great customer service. From greeting fans, helping conduct on-field games, to even, leading chants/dances on the dugout, this team is a major element to the Memphis Redbirds/901 FC fan experience. This team is also in charge of the plaza set up for before games and community event activation.
