MEMPHIS, Tennessee - After a sluggish offensive night, the Memphis Redbirds had the tying run at the plate with one out in the bottom of the ninth but could not push anything across and lost a 6-2 game to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Brewers) Thursday night at AutoZone Park.

Trailing 6-1 in the bottom of the ninth,
But the Sky Sox (38-26) retired the final two Redbirds (40-26) to strand the bases loaded and end the ballgame.
Until the ninth, Memphis has three hits in the game, all of which were singles by Wisdom. He was on base four times on the night.
Memphis' seven-game homestand concludes tomorrow night at 7:05 with the finale of the four-game series against Colorado Springs. The Redbirds then hit the road for eight games in nine days before returning to AutoZone Park on Monday, June 26.
