Oxnard, CA - The California League is proud to announce the 2018 All-Stars. Each roster is made up of 22 active players. This year, the game will feature All-Stars from the North Division teams against the South Division in a 9-inning (max) game.

The 2018 California League All-Star Game will be played in Lancaster at The Hangar, the home of the Lancaster JetHawks on Tuesday, June 19. Gates open at 4:00 pm before the HR Derby and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Game time is 7:00 pm.

Before the game, the Cal League will honor members of its third Hall of Fame Class. This year's inductees are: Roberto Alomar Jr, Joe Morgan, Lenn Sakata, and Larry Jackson

Managing the North team is Mitch Canham, the manager for the 2017 Cal League Champions, the Modesto Nuts. Canham is in his second season managing the Nuts and will have his pitching coach, Peter Woodworth and trainer, Josh Diloreto.

Managing for the South Division All-Stars is host team manager of the Lancaster JetHawks, Fred Ocasio. Ocasio will have his JetHawks staff helping out as well: pitching coach Dave Burba, hitting coach Tom Sutaris, and trainer Josh Guterman.

Highlighting the North team is Modesto Nuts infielder, Bryson Brigman. Brigman leads the North Division in hitting at .327, 2nd in hits with 76, 1st in on base percentage at .406, and 2nd in triples with 5. On the mound, Canham might turn to Visalia Rawhide starter, Emilio Vargas who leads all starters in the league with a 1.13 ERA or to Miguel Romero from Stockton who has already racked up 13 saves and leads the league in that category.

For the South, Lake Elsinore Storm outfielder, Buddy Reed leads the entire league in hitting with a .330 average to go with his 9 homeruns, and 28 stolen bases (which also leads the league). Storm pitcher Reggie Lawson will take his 4-2 record with a 2.84 ERA and try and shut down the North hitters. While host team closer, Reid Humphreys will look to close it out for the home crowd. Humphreys has a solid 2.21 ERA to go with his 12 saves for the JetHawks.
