Hensville and Fifth Third Field included in DORA

The Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID), Destination Toledo and the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce today launched the Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). 

The Downtown Toledo Improvement District (DTID), Destination Toledo and the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce today launched the Downtown Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). 

DORA allows alcoholic drinks to be carried outside, in an official DORA cup, if they stay within the boundaries of the outdoor refreshment area. DORA, which is contained within the central business and Warehouse districts.
The DORA boundaries are Lafayette Street to Adams Street and Summit Street to Erie Street and are marked by these street signs.

There are 24 participating restaurants, pubs and entertainment venues in the district including Fifth Third Field, NINE at Hensville and Fleetwood's Tap Room.
The DORA is in effect daily from noon to midnight. Participants must use an official DORA cup when taking a beverage outside of a venue into the street. The DORA cups must then stay within the set boundaries and cannot be carried into another establishment.

What you need to know when you're in Hensville
Fifth Third Field

  • There will be one designated DORA gate in Section 120 located in the Home Run Terrace. This gate leads into Hensville.
  • The maximum cup size for the DORA is 16 oz. 
  • Guests can use the DORA gate in Section 120 to enter Fleetwood's Tap Room or Hensville Park during the game. Guests will be able to re-enter Fifth Third Field, but cannot re-enter with a DORA cup.

Fleetwood's Tap Room/Hensville Park
  • Guests can move between Fleetwood's Tap Room and Hensville Park without using a DORA cup.

DTID will have the day-to-day management of the DORA by utilizing their ambassadors for hospitality and clean and safety coverage. The ambassador team will have extended hours for events and summer weekends. The Toledo Police Department is responsible for the overall safety of DORA.
