The Nashville Sounds are bringing the spirit of America’s favorite pastime to Nolensville for their PLAY BALL Weekend — a special youth-focused event designed to get kids excited about baseball and softball. On Saturday, June 14, the Sounds host a free clinic for 9–12 year-olds at the Nolensville Little League Fields, teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun, welcoming environment. MLB.com
This initiative is part of a larger effort by MLB and MiLB to encourage youth participation — and the Sounds are proud to lead the way locally through their foundation, making baseball accessible while investing in the next generation of players and fans.
We begin the weekend with a PLAY BALL Clinic. This free event is geared towards children nine (9) to twelve (12) years old introducing them to softball and baseball.
Time: 10am-12pm (2 hours)
Where: Nolensville Little League Fields
Who: 100 softball and baseball (9-12 years old)
Why: MLB and MiLB initiative to encourage the next generation of players and fans. 150 clubs will participate this weekend across the country.
