Sunday's series finale was all about the kids. In honor of 'Chalk it Up' Sunday at Joe Riley Park, RiverDogs staff passed out 500 packs of chalk to youngsters at the gates, and the kids were able to draw all over the ballpark's concourses, walls and everywhere else their hearts desired. It was also another MUSC Health Family Sunday, so all the kids in attendance enjoyed free food and ran the bases after the game. Everyone who drove to the game was also allowed to park free of charge.

In the midst of a July that contains 17 games away from the friendly confines of Joe Riley Park, the RiverDogs will once again pack their bags for a seven-game road trip, during which they'll visit a pair of Northern Division clubs. Charleston will meet the Lakewood BlueClaws for three games starting Tuesday night following a Monday off day.
