Cubs salvage series finale with 6-1 win over Snappers

After being beat handily by the Beloit Snappers in both of the past two days, the Cubs beat Beloit 6-1 on Friday night to take the series finale and third overall game of the homestand. The win gives the Cubs another opportunity to stay above the .500 mark consistently. With the victory, they jump to 46-45 and 12-10 in the second half.
