DES MOINES, IA - Mike Freeman legged out an RBI infield single to walk it off for Iowa as the I-Cubs (14-27) worked a 3-2 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers (16-27), Sunday at Principal Park.

Omaha built a 2-0 lead with a run in each of the second and third innings, highlighted by a Ryan O'Hearn solo home run. The edge held until the seventh. Chris Gimenez was hit by a pitch with one out and Jacob Hannemann got aboard on an error. A Ryan Court single loaded the bags, but Bijan Rademacher spoiled the second out with a pinch-hit strikeout. Freeman answered the call, roping a 1-1 pitch to center field, bringing in two to tie the game.
Hannemann sparked the rally in the ninth with a one-out single. Court followed with a walk to put two on and with two down, Freeman did the damage by sneaking an infield hit to second base to give Iowa the walk-off win.
Jen-Ho Tseng put together his best outing of the season, fanning a Triple-A career-best nine through 7.0 innings. He gave up two earned runs on four hits and one walk. Cory Mazzoni (2-2) took the win, contributing 2.0 perfect innings.
Iowa travels to Round Rock tomorrow for a 7:05 first pitch to kick off a four-game set. Follow the action on AM 940 or www.iowacubs.com.
