Red Sox and Mudcats Rained out on Sunday

SALEM, Va. - The final game of a four-game series between the Salem Red Sox and Carolina Mudcats was postponed due to rain on Sunday, April 19. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, May 9 at 5:05 p.m. and consist of two seven-inning games.

Fans who had purchased tickets for Sunday's game can now exchange their ticket for one of equal or lesser value for any remaining 2015 Salem Red Sox home game, subject to availability. The free ticket offer for Salem residents has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 3 at 4:05 p.m. Any resident of the City of Salem can show their ID at the box office that day and receive a free ticket as part of the celebration of the new 10-year lease between the Salem Red Sox and the City of Salem.

The Red Sox will now turn their attention to a three-game series with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. First pitch on Monday night is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The starting pitchers have not been announced at the time of this release. Fans unable to attend can listen to the game on 1240 AM WGMN ESPN Roanoke, on salemsox.com or via the TuneIn Radio app.
