PawSox and 'Riders Snowed Out Thursday
(Moosic, PA) The Pawtucket Red Sox were postponed due to inclement weather on Thursday in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area. Game one of their four-game series with the RailRiders will be made up in a doubleheader on Saturday at 4:05 P.M.
A frozen mixture blanketed the region throughout the morning and early afternoon, rendering the conditions unplayable.
The PawSox will now begin the series with Scranton Friday night at 7:05 P.M. Henry Owens (0-0, 4.09) is scheduled to start for the PawSox against the Railriders' Kyle Davies (1-0, 0.00). Radio coverage on 920 AM (WHJJ) and also streaming online begins at 6:60 P.M.
