Sea Dogs and Mets Suspended on Monday Night

Game to Resume Tuesday at 5:00 PM

Portland, Maine- Monday's Portland Sea Dogs game against the Binghamton Mets has been suspended in the second inning, tied at two, due to rain. The game will resume Tuesday at 5:00 PM, followed by Tuesday's regularly scheduled game, which will be seven innings in duration.

Fans with tickets to Monday's suspended game, may exchange their tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2015 Sea Dogs home game, based upon availability.  

Tickets for Tuesday, April 28th will be good for both the completion of the suspended game and Tuesday's regularly scheduled game.

The suspended game will resume in the bottom of the second inning with the Sea Dogs batting, Kevin Heller on second base, and Mike Miller at the plate with one out.  

Portland took an early lead in the bottom of the first, with Jantzen Witte scoring on a passed ball by Mets catcher Xorge Carrillo to make it 1-0. Bingham struck back in the top of the second on a two-run double by Eudy Pina to make it 2-1.

After Tim Roberson reached on an error by Gavin Cecchini, Kevin Heller delivered an RBI double to tie the game at two. The game was suspended shortly after Heller's double.
