Opening Night Washed Away in Binghamton

B-Mets season-opener postponed
April 7, 2016

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Mets' season-opening game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Thursday night was postponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader later in the season. Friday's regularly-scheduled game will remain a single game and is set to start at 7:05 PM.

Tickets for Thursday's game can exchange for tickets of equal or lesser value to a future 2016 regular season B-Mets game (excluding July 3).

Thursday's rainout marks the first time the B-Mets have been postponed on Opening Night since 2007. It is the first time since 1995 that a B-Mets home opener has been postponed.

The Binghamton Mets open their 25th season on Thursday, April 7 at 6:35 PM at NYSEG Stadium against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Season tickets and mini packs are on sale now and may be purchased in person at NYSEG Stadium or by visiting www.bmets.com or calling (607) 723-METS.
