May 3, 2016

Indianapolis, IN --- Adam Frazier singled with two outs and the bases loaded in the 12th inning to score the game's only run as Indianapolis edged Durham 1-0 at Victory Field on Tuesday night.

Frazier laced a pitch from Justin Marks (L, 0-1) to score Dan Gamache from third base. The Bulls (12-15) appeared on the verge of escaping the inning with the 0-0 game intact. After Gamache singled and Willy Garcia doubled him to third, Marks popped out pinch-hitter Mel Rojas for the first out. Marks issued an intentional walk to fill the bases, then fanned another pinch-hitter Max Moroff with the Bulls playing five infielders. But Fraizer followed with his game-winner to left-center to even the series.

For the first seven innings, Durham starter Matt Andriese dueled with Indianapolis' Jameson Taillon, each delivering stellar outings. Andriese struck out a career-high 14 hitters over his seven frames, walking one and permitting three hits. Taillon yielded two hits and fanned three.

The Bulls managed just four hits, all singles.

The Bulls' road trip ends Wednesday at 11:05 AM with Blake Snell (1-2, 3.66) opposing Wilfredo Boscan (2-2, 2.05).
