Opening Night for your Cougars 30th anniversary season is Thursday, April 9 against the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Northwestern Medicine Field.

Vince Harrison returns to Kane County for his second-year as manager of the Cougars. As the 20th manager in franchise history, Harrison and his staff will look to build upon the success the team found last year following their second-half Western Division Championship. In his first year as manager, he led the Cougars to a record of 81-58 for an overall winning percentage of .583.
Harrison's staff includes pitching coach Barry Enright, hitting coach K.C. Judge, coach Juan Francia, athletic trainer Daniel Fifer along with strength and conditioning coordinator Logan Jones. Former Diamondbacks pitcher Barry Enright comes to Kane County for his second season as a pitching coach after spending last season at Short-Season A Hillsboro. He made his Major League debut with the D-backs in 2010 and spent time with the Angels from 2012-13. Judge is entering his second season with the D-backs as a hitting coach after spending last season in Rookie-Advanced Missoula. Following his collegiate career at California Lutheran University, he spent three seasons in Independent Baseball. Francia comes to the Cougars for his fifth season as a Diamondbacks coach. Prior to serving as the manager for Missoula in 2019, he spent three seasons as both a coach and manager for the D-backs Dominican Summer League Rookie team in Boca Chica. He spent eight Minor League seasons with the Detroit Tigers (2000-06) and New York Yankees (2007).
