(July 8, 2019) - The West Virginia Power opens up their first July homestand Tuesday evening as they welcome the first half Northern Division champions, the Delmarva Shorebirds, to town from July 9-11. Enjoy a midweek three-day home slate that includes a Rock 105 Two for Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday, as well as a spooktacular Pets in the Park Night!
SCHEDULE:
Tuesday, July 9 vs. Delmarva Shorebirds - 7:05 p.m.
Wednesday, July 10 vs. Delmarva Shorebirds - 7:05 p.m.
Thursday, July 11 vs. Delmarva Shorebirds - 7:05 p.m.

ABOUT THE SHOREBIRDS: Delmarva travels to Appalachian Power Park for the second time this season after getting swept by West Virginia in the final home series of the first half. However, the Shorebirds have not skipped a beat since their historic first-half title run, as they enter the series with a 13-5 record and a one-game lead in the Northern Division standings over Hickory. With an overall record of 61-26, Delmarva claims the best record across Minor League Baseball and was the first team in the country to reach 60 wins on the campaign.
TWO FOR TUESDAY: Enjoy two-for-one concession specials during Tuesday's contest against the Delmarva Shorebirds. Additionally, fans can purchase two tickets for the price of one only at the Power Box Office, courtesy of Rock 105! Also, if the Power wins Tuesday, all fans in attendance are invited to run the bases postgame! Gates open at 6 p.m., and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
PETS IN THE PARK NIGHT: Bring your favorite furry friends out to the ballpark! Pet passes are just $3.00, with all proceeds going to animal-related charities. We will also be hosting an animal food drive for the Humane Association! Every fan who brings a donation of animal food to the game will receive a free general admission ticket. Additionally, dress up with your pets for a spooktacular day at Appalachian Power Park as we celebrate Halloween in July! Trick-or-Treat stations with free candy will be set up around the ballpark for children to enjoy throughout the game. 
THIRSTY THURSDAY: Get $2.00 cans and 20-ounce beverages during the Power's homestand finale against the Delmarva Shorebirds, courtesy of Rock 105! College students can purchase two tickets for the price of one with a valid student ID only at the Box Office. Gates open at 6 p.m., and first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
