Spokane, WASH. - A walk-off struck again at Avista Stadium on Thursday night for Back to School Night presented by Coordinated Care, KXLY 4 News, HOT 96.9 and 700 ESPN.
With the game scoreless two innings in, the Indians struck first with two runs in the third inning.
The Dust Devils chipped away at the Indians' lead and eventually tied the game 3-3 with two runs in the seventh. The score remained tied going into the bottom of the ninth, setting the stage for another dramatic finish.
The Indians continue to find themselves in one-run games. 33 of Spokane's 67 games have been decided by just a run, including 16 of the last 23 contests.
Vancouver defeated Everett on Thursday night, so the Indians still remain a game back of first place in the NWL North Division. Spokane and Tri-City are tied for second in the division with a record of 16-13 in the second half of the season.
Spokane concludes its three-game series with Tri-City on Friday for Fireworks & Military Appreciation Night & Lawton Team Photo presented by Gus Johnson Ford, KHQ, Rock 94 1/2, The Big 99.9 Coyote Country, and The Current.
