Mets begin epic home stand on Monday

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets return to First Data Field on Monday to start a massive home stand that will see the team play 11 games over 11 days.
The Mets host the Dunedin Blue Jays (Toronto) for four games from Monday-Wednesday. Then they welcome the Lakeland Flying Tigers (Detroit) to the Treasure Coast from Thursday-Sunday. Monday, May 27th is an off day. The home stand will continue next Tuesday-Thursday (May 28-30) against the Jupiter Hammerheads (Miami).
Monday against Dunedin is a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. to make up for a rainout in Dunedin on May 5th.
Highlighting the home stand will be a pair of Dollar Nights on the Thursday games and Nickelodeon Night on Saturday with the Mets wearing custom jerseys to be auctioned off in support of Willis RBI Baseball. A fireworks show will light up the night sky after Saturday's contest.
Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays is Education Day with first pitch scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
Scout Night and Bark in the Park are on Friday.
Tickets to all games are available on www.stluciemets.com, over the phone by calling 772-871-2115 during office hours or at the ticket booth outside of Gate A on game days only (opens 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. Sunday).
Below is a list of all the happenings at First Data Field for the 10 home dates:
Monday - 4:00 p.m.
-Doubleheader: two games set for seven innings apiece with a 30 minute break in between.
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m.
-Silver Sluggers Night: All Silver Sluggers members get in free and receive a free hot dog.
-Baseball Bingo: Free for all fans to play.
Wednesday - 10:30 a.m.
-Education Day: Area schools will fill up the ballpark for a morning of baseball and learning. Fans of all ages are welcome to attend.
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
-Dollar Night: $1 Bud and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.
-Solo Cup Special: Buy a Mets solo cup for $12 and receive $1 draft beer refills every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
-Pregame Car Show: The Treasure Coast Vintage Car Club will have a pregame car show in the parking lot from 4-6 p.m.
Friday - 6:30 p.m.
-Bark in the Park: Dogs are welcome in the ballpark for $2 with proceeds going to the St. Lucie County Humane Society.
-All dogs will receive a free grooming certificate courtesy of Pet Supplies Plus.
-Scout Night: Scouts have the opportunity to camp out over night in the outfield. Interested parties should contact Kasey Blair at [email protected].
-Family 4 Pack: Receive four general admission tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, four ice cream sandwiches and one family size popcorn for $50.
-Kids Club Night: All Klutch's Kids Crew members get in free and receive a free ice cream.
-Fun Run Around the Bases for kids 12-and-under after the game.
Saturday - 6:30 p.m.
-Nickelodeon Night: The Mets will wear Nickelodeon-inspired jerseys that will be auctioned off to support Willis RBI Baseball. Fans wishing to bid on the jerseys must download the LiveSource app.
-Postgame fireworks presented by Seacoast Bank!
-Craft Beer Special: Adults 21-and-up can get a ticket and two craft beers for $20.
Sunday - 12:00 p.m.
Monday - Off day
Tuesday (May 28) - 6:30 p.m.
