RHP Jake Thompson makes his 17th start of the season for the Pigs. The right-hander has dropped each of his last three decisions including his last outing on July 6 at Syracuse. In the outing, the Dallas native tossed seven innings, surrendering three runs on four hits while walking and striking out a pair.
RHP Dillon Gee makes his third start for the Red Wings this season after being acquired by MIN on June 22. The Twins signed Gee to a minor league contract and then purchased his contract the next day promoting him to Minnesota.
A late IronPigs (56-36) comeback came up short, as the Rochester Red Wings (50-40) defeated the Pigs 4-1 Friday night at Coca-Cola Park before 9,749 fans.

Eflin's night was done after six innings pitched, as the right-hander allowed the two runs on six hits while walking a pair and striking out four. He was tabbed with his second loss of the season.
With the loss, the Pigs now trail the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders by 1.5 games in the International League's North Division, however, still hold a five-game lead over the Red Wings for the Wild Card.
