Gore departed following the second inning and was replaced by fellow left-hander Tom Cosgrove in the third. Cosgrove allowed at least one run in each the third, fourth and fifth innings.
Jake Adams drove in two runs with his double off the wall in the sixth inning, scoring both
Solomon, the starting pitcher, threw 5.0 scoreless innings and struck out a season-high eight hitters. He scattered three hits and walked two. Ivey came out of the bullpen with 4.0 scoreless innings during which he allowed two hits and struck out seven while walking a pair.
The River Bandits totaled ten hits with five of them going for extra-bases. Almonte drove in three runs with two doubles. Adams and Julks both finished with two hits and two RBI.
The River Bandits (17-13) and TinCaps (14-18) close out their only meeting of the regular season on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. RHP
