San Jose Giants, Single-A:
When hungry fans arrive at Excite Ballpark, they should make their way through Gigante's Alley, a corridor filled with both classic and atypical stadium fare. Plus, they have something called "Sweet and Boozy," which feels like the perfect combo. But the food tour doesn't end there. Down the left-field line sits Turkey Mike's. Named after "Turkey: Mike Donlin -- who played for San Jose in 1898 and liked to strut like a bird -- this stand offers every type of barbeque one could imagine. Read more »

Big league atmosphere, Minor League prices

Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A:
The capital city of California, Sacramento has been a baseball town since the Gold Rush. And just across the Sacramento River in West Sacramento is no different. With a capacity of 14,014, Sutter Health Park is the third-biggest Minor League stadium and offers a view that could be mistaken for PNC Park at first glance with the yellow Tower Bridge and cityscape beyond right field. The sloped berm also provides visual of a grandstand near the foul pole. History is all over the park with memorabilia and art in "Stairwell Four" and the Solon Club. Eugene Emeralds, High-A:
Sluggo is a bright green bear who once came across an Emeralds game and thought he'd join in. While his name is a baseball reference, it also ties in locally rather well since slugs are prevalent in the Eugene region. Sluggo enjoys taking batting practice, riding his ATV and bringing joy to fellow Emeralds fans. Read more »

Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A:
A city full of rich and tumultuous history, Richmond is home to an array of museums worth checking out, including the American Civil War Museum, Black History Museum, Virginia Holocaust Museum, the Virginia Fine Arts Museum and the Poe Museum. Also, the James River Park Pipeline Walkway sits less than five miles from The Diamond and offers unique views of local wildlife and the city. Read more »
