The Tennessee Smokies beat the Rocket City Trash Pandas 10-4 on Tuesday by blasting seven home runs.
The long ball accounted for all 10 of Tennessee’s runs in game one of the series. Kevin Alcantara led off the game with a home run on the third pitch. He went on to hit another home run and finished the game 3-for-5.
James Triantos and Pablo Aliendo also had a multi-homer game for Tennessee. Triantos finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Aliendo drove in three as well.
Connor Noland (1-0) started the game and got the win by pitching five innings and allowing two runs. Chase Chaney (1-1) took the loss for Rocket City.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow for a day game starting at 11:05 CT.
