Sunday’s Round Rock Express at Reno Aces Contest Postponed

RENO, Nevada – Sunday afternoon’s contest between the Round Rock Express (34-35) and Reno Aces (43-26) at Greater Nevada Field has been postponed due to unhealthy air quality from wildfire smoke crossing through the Reno area. RENO, Nevada – Sunday afternoon’s contest between the Round Rock Express (34-35) and Reno Aces (43-26) at Greater Nevada Field has been postponed due to unhealthy air quality from wildfire smoke crossing through the Reno area.

The Express and Aces will now meet in a straight doubleheader on Monday, July 26 beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT. Game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both contests will be seven innings in length.

Round Rock LHP Hyeon-Jong Yang (0-4, 5.47) is scheduled to face Reno RHP Humberto Mejia (4-3, 6.68) in game one. E-Train LHP Brock Burke (0-4, 6.90) is set to get the starting nod in game two against an Aces pitcher yet to be announced.

Voice of the Express Mike Capps will cover all the action live from Reno on AM 1300 The Zone with the pregame show beginning at 6:50 p.m. CT. Monday’s doubleheader can also be viewed live on MiLB.tv with a valid subscription.

The Express return home to Dell Diamond on Thursday, July 29 to open a 12-game homestand with a six-game series against the Oklahoma City Dodgers (Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate) beginning at 7:05 p.m.
