A pair of young local baseball fans will attend Games 3 & 4 of the 2017 World Series at Minute Maid Park in Houston this weekend as the Pawtucket Red Sox once again have provided two lucky winners from the Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket with an all-expense paid trip to the World Series.
This year's trip marks the 28th year that the PawSox have sent a pair of youngsters (along with a parent each) to baseball's showcase event.
The Boys and Girls Club winners were chosen from eligible club members prior to a PawSox game at McCoy last August. They are Kirsten Cruz, 13, and Connor Cirello, 11, both from Pawtucket. The youngsters will be accompanied by Kirsten's father, John and Connor's mother, Erin.
The four will have great seats in Houston for the Fall Classic as the Astros try to capture their first World Series championship while the Dodgers bid to win their first World Series since 1988.
