Cox Sports Television To Air Blue Wahoos Games

PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Cox Sports Television (CST) have teamed up to air four games during the months of June and July. Cox Sports Television's coverage area reaches a 350-mile radius from New Orleans including Louisiana, southern Mississippi, western Alabama and the Florida panhandle.

"This is a great opportunity to showcase the Pensacola community," said Jonathan Griffith, Executive Vice President of the Blue Wahoos. "We are excited about this chance to share our award-winning ballpark experience and the great Pensacola Bay area to the rest of the south."  

Pensacola Bayfront Stadium will host the following teams on air: Jacksonville Suns (6/1), Mobile BayBears (6/20), Montgomery Biscuits (7/11) and the Biloxi Shuckers (7/25). 

CST is found locally on Cox channel 319 and HD channel 1319 in Pensacola.

Since launch in 2002, CST has grown to nearly 5.5 million viewers, making it one of the fastest growing regional sports networks in the south. By the end of 2014, the GULF SOUTH SPORTS LEADER was seen in California, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Louisiana, Ohio, Virginia, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Georgia and Florida.

The first game of the 2015 regular season at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium is on Thursday, April 9^th against the Biloxi Shuckers (Milwaukee Brewers) at 6:30 p.m. Season tickets are still available, for more information call (850) 934-8444.
