Roster Move: Schuster Joins Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following roster changes for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. LHP Patrick Schuster has been acquired in a trade from the Arizona Diamondbacks while C Lou Marson has been released.

Schuster has spent the season with the Mobile BayBears where he has established a 3.24 ERA in 22 appearances. In 25.0 innings of work, he's recorded 20 strikeouts and 12 walks. Schuster was drafted in the 13^th round of the 2009 draft from New Port Richey, Fla. Last season, he made 21 appearances for the Triple-A Reno Aces and posted a 4.50 ERA with the team.

Marson played in six games for the Blue Wahoos this season where he went 5-19 (.263) with two runs and two RBIs.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have 25 players on their active roster.
