An ATM machine is located in the concourse next to the ticket windows. Credit and debit cards can also be used at all points of sale throughout the ballpark including tickets, concessions, and souvenirs.

Fans are strongly encouraged to leave bags at home to reduce points of contact during the security screening process and to expedite entry into the ballpark.

The Sea Dogs will permit medical bags, manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children, and 4.5" x 6.5" clutch purses for personal items. We ask that guests only bring necessary items and keep track of their personal belongings at all times. All bags entering the stadium are subject to inspection.

Forbes magazine recently named Portland, Maine, "Beer Capital, USA". We offer multiple local craft and domestic beers, seltzers, and wine at multiple bars through out the stadium like our Brew House or Ware-Butler Bar and Grill located on the third base side. Bars close after the 7th inning. IDs are required.

Hadlock Field is located at 271 Park Avenue in Portland. Parking is available at the Maine Medical Center lot (located at 995 Congress Street), at the Maine Medical parking garage on Forest Street, and at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

The Sea Dogs hire part-time seasonal employees for a variety of departments including but not limited to...concessions, merchandising, ushering, ticketing, and security departments.

A family restroom facility is located on the third base side of the concourse.

The Sea Dogs do not assume responsibility for any damaged or unanswered mail, including but not limited to: baseball cards, photos, etc.

Eastern League Rule Section 19 states: "In the interest of public safety, no food or drink may be brought into Eastern League ballparks." The Sea Dogs will allow empty water bottles or containers (no glass) into the ballpark. 

Fans should be alert for foul balls at all times. Fans are permitted to keep any balls that enter the stands.

The ballpark gates open 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled start of the game.

Fans who have lost or found an item during an event should report to the Consolidated Communications Guest Services Desk located just outside of the Ticket Office. At the conclusion of each event, lost & found items are stored at the Hadlock Field Ticket Office, where they are kept until claimed. You can contact a representative at 207-879-9500. At the end of the season, unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill.

The Portland Sea Dogs require new performers to participate in open auditions that are held at Hadlock Field. Auditions are scheduled based on need and are not held every year. Information will be posted on our website and social media platforms in advance of any audition events.

The Sea Dogs make every effort to play every scheduled game. A decision to postpone a game will not be made until it is determined that there is no way the game can be safely played. There is no set time for that decision to be made. Once a game is started, the decision to continue play rests solely with the umpires. Also, when a team is playing its last series at Portland for the season, the decision to postpone can only be made by the umpires per Eastern League rules.

Any change in game status will be posted on our website (www.seadogs.com) and will be posted on our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter.  

Policy:
If less than 5 innings of one game (4 1/2 if the Sea Dogs are ahead) is played, your ticket may be exchanged in person at the Sea Dogs Ticket Office, or by mail for one ticket of equal or lesser value for any remaining regular season game subject to availability. Tickets from postponed games are not tied to the rescheduled game; they may be exchanged for any date, subject to availability. There are no refunds.

It is highly recommended that tickets from rained out games be exchanged in advance.

If you wish to exchange by mail please include your tickets, preferred date(s), and a good daytime phone number so that we can call you if there are questions about making the exchange.

The Sea Dogs encourage fans to recycle bottles and cans. Please deposit your cans and bottles in the white recycling barrels located through the ballpark.

Once you have left the ballpark, you may not return under any circumstances unless you purchase a new ticket. In case of emergency or extenuating circumstances, please speak to a Security team member.

The Portland Sea Dogs do not offer refunds on tickets. Standard tickets cannot be exchanged unless the game is not played; Assurance tickets can be exchanged for a different date, prior to the first pitch of the issued date. Please call the Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 with any questions.

Hadlock Field security and the Portland Police are on site for all Portland Sea Dogs games. Please report any suspicious or dangerous activity to a security member or police officer.

Fans entering Hadlock Field will go through metal detectors. All bags are subject to inspection prior to entry.

 

Pursuant to Maine Statute 17-A section 1057 no guns are permitted into Hadlock Field. This statute is directly related to Maine's alcohol license policy which we must follow because we have a license. Any fan with a firearm, or anything in the opinion of Sea Dogs security resembling a firearm, knives, or any prohibited item must return to their vehicle to store the item in accordance with Maine state law. That fan will be permitted entry once they can clear the metal detectors.

Hadlock Field is a non-smoking facility.

The Portland Sea Dogs do not hold open tryouts. All players are acquired by the Boston Red Sox. 

The Sea Dogs Ticket Office is located at Hadlock Field. The Ticket Office is open year round, Monday through Friday (9:00 am -5:00 pm). On game days, the ticket office is open from 9:00am through the end of the game. Call 207-879-9500 to verify hours or with other questions.
