Redbirds, Cubs Postponed In Homestand Finale
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Monday evening's series finale between the Memphis Redbirds and Iowa Cubs has been postponed to due to rain and field conditions.
The game will be made up as part of a 5:05 p.m. CT doubleheader on Wednesday, May 28, when the two teams will play a pair of seven-inning contests. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets from tonight's rainout can be exchanged at the box office for any future 2014 regular season contest, excluding all fireworks games and excluding July 4.
After a four-game series against cross-state rival Nashville beginning tomorrow, the Redbirds return home to the Bluff City on Saturday, April 19 to square off against the Oklahoma City RedHawks (Triple-A Astros) in a four-game homestand at AutoZone Park.
