Summer Fun Continues As Redbirds Open Eight-Game Homestand

Cardinals And Cubs Affiliates Square Off As Rivalry Extends To AutoZone Park

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds return to AutoZone Park on Saturday, June 22 for an eight-game homestand against the division- rival Iowa Cubs (Triple-A Cubs) and Albuquerque Isotopes (Triple-A Dodgers). The promotion-packed homestand will be highlighted by two fireworks extravaganzas, Faith & Family Night, the Firm Night, and Nickelodeon Day.

Saturday, June 22 vs. Iowa Cubs at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 4:50 p.m.)

  • Faith and Family Night & Fireworks: Join the Redbirds for a pre-game concert by Christian music artist Satellites & Sirens at 5:00 p.m. on the plaza. Fans can stick around afterwards for the first of two fireworks shows of the homestand.
  • Signature Saturday: Select Redbird players will sign autographs in the plaza from 5:00-5:30 p.m.
  • Baby Races: The fastest babies in town will race at AutoZone Park in the third of five Baby Races this season presented by Fertility Associates of Memphis.
  • Sarah Simmons Appearance: Memphis resident Sarah Simmons from NBC's The Voice will sing God Bless America in the 7th inning.

Sunday, June 23 vs. Iowa Cubs at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

  • OYO Player Mini-Figurine Giveaway: The first 2,000 fans in attendance can add a pint-sized Redbird to their life with this collectible figure, presented by U.S. Foods.
  • Prostate Cancer Awareness Day: Help the Redbirds spread the word about Prostate Cancer Awareness with Ed Randall Bat for the Cure.
  • Kids Run the Bases: Kids 12 and under get to take the field after the game and run like the Redbirds, sponsored by TennDent and Shelby County Health Department.
  • Six Flags St. Louis Coupon Giveaway: The first 6,000 kids under 48" tall will receive one complimentary ticket to Six Flags, St. Louis. Characters will also be at the ballpark to meet fans.

Monday, June 24 vs. Iowa Cubs at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

  • EAT MOR CHIKIN Monday: Fans can receive $6 off the gameday ticket price at the box office when presenting a Chick-fil-A value meal receipt. Limit 4 tickets per transaction.
  • Malibu Monday: On Mondays at AutoZone Park, fans can purchase a Field Box ticket and a Malibu can cocktail for only $19, or a Club Level ticket and a Malibu can cocktail for only $24.

Tuesday, June 25 vs. Iowa Cubs at 7:02 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

  • "Two"sday: Tuesdays are now "Two"-sdays at AutoZone Park featuring $2 hot dogs, sodas, and popcorn, 2-for-1 ticket specials at the Box Office, special in-game giveaways, and $2 off Budweiser draft products.

Thursday, June 27 vs. Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

  • Subway Eat Fresh Thursday: Fans can receive a half-price ticket to any Redbirds Thursday regular season game when presenting in a Subway restaurant receipt, and can also receive a free sub coupon when exiting.
  • Thursday Night Out: For $15, fans will receive a Field Box ticket, 12 oz. Michelob Ultra beer, and a Michelob Ultra koozie or opener.

Friday, June 28 vs. Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

  • Redbirds Team Card Set Giveaway: The first 2,000 fans can receive a collectible set of 2013 Redbirds trading cards, presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza.
  • Coors Light Block Party: Every Friday, gates open early for a Block Party featuring 16oz. Coors Lights for $2 and live music from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Fred's Family Friday: Fans can save up to $30 on Dugout seats at all Friday Redbirds home games after spending $15 at fred's Super Dollar. Bring your fred's Super Dollar store receipt to the Redbirds box office & receive a $5 discount per ticket. (Limit 6 tickets per receipt)

Saturday, June 29 vs. Albuquerque Isotopes at 6:05 p.m. (gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

  • The Firm Night & Fireworks: Join the Redbirds as the pay tribute to "The Firm," the John Grisham classic filmed in Memphis, for its 20th anniversary, presented by YP. Fans can stick around after the game for another spectacular fireworks extravaganza.
  • Signature Saturday: Select Redbird players will sign autographs in the plaza from 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 30 vs. Albuquerque Isotopes at 1:35 p.m. (gates open at 12:30 p.m.)

  • Nickelodeon Day: The Redbirds will host talent from the children and teen network Nickelodeon, featuring slimulators, shaboozinators, and of course, lots of green slime. Throughout the ballgame, contestants will be slimed, pied, and watered by Nickelodeon in games reminiscent of the classic shows You Can't Say That on Television and Figure It Out. Nickelodeon personality Jeff Sutphen will be on hand to host the day's events.
