New Salem Red Sox App Available for Opening Day

            There has never been a better time to follow Salem Red Sox baseball, and a new mobile app has made being a fan as easy as ever! All fans are encouraged to download the free "MiLB Inside the Park" app, a great tool to learn about special promotions and deals while visiting LewisGale Field.

            A great aspect of Minor League Baseball is the constant opportunity to be a part of the experience, and the new "Inside the Park" app will enhance every fan's enjoyment of the game. During a game, coupons will pop up for certain discounts at concession stands. In addition, fans can earn points each day to battle for different daily prizes and even sign up for on-field contests and promotions.

            The app will also include an easy-to-access map to locate items around the ballpark, convenient connections to other social media outlets to upload photos and post statuses, and other information about the team and it's gameday scene.

            When fans can't make it to the game, they can still utilize the app by tuning in to the Salem Red Sox radio broadcast, which will stream for free on their phone.

            The defending Carolina League champion Salem Red Sox open up their home slate on Tuesday, April 8 against the Winston-Salem Dash. After sweeping the season-opening road series in Myrtle Beach, the Sox have won 15 consecutive games dating back to last August.
