The Oklahoma City Dodgers knocked off the Salt Lake Bees, 6-2, in Thursday's series finale at Smith's Ballpark.

MLB rehabber Adrián González opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the third inning, and the Dodgers never relinquished the lead. Salt Lake cut the Oklahoma City lead to 2-1 on a Rey Navarro bases-loaded walk in the fifth, but the Dodgers tacked on an insurance run in the sixth inning and Rob Segedin's three-run double in the ninth put the game out of reach. Salt Lake scored one in the ninth and brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth, but could not complete the comeback. Bo Way (11 games) and Michael Hermosillo (six games) extended their hitting streaks with fifth inning singles.
Luis Diaz (4-11) took the loss for Salt Lake, allowing three earned runs in five and two-thirds innings. Manny Bañuelos worked a scoreless inning and one-third in relief of Diaz, Andrew Bailey continued his rehab assignment with a hitless eighth, and Damien Magnifico pitched the ninth.
On 90s night at Smith's Ballpark, the Bees wore throwback Salt Lake Buzz uniforms to conclude the eight-game homestand. Salt Lake opens a four-game series at Sacramento on Friday, and returns home Tuesday, August 15 to face the Tacoma Rainiers for a four-game set.
