Jordyn Adams drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Salt Lake Bees (25-29) won in walk-off fashion for the fourth time this season, taking a 7-6 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes (22-32).

Adams was the star of the night as he drove in all seven runs for the Bees, starting with a three-run homer in the third inning to give Salt Lake a 3-2 advantage. Three innings later Adams once again found himself at the plate with two runners on and the Bees trailing before taking the ball over the opposite field wall to put the Bees up 6-5. Albuquerque would add a sacrifice fly in the seventh to tie things up and the score would hold until Adams walked on four straight pitches with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to give the Bees their third straight win. The two-homer game was the second of the year for Adams and the 11th of the season for a Bees batter. His 7 RBI set a new team-high for the season.

After the starter, Mason Erla, went 4.0 innings allowing five runs on five hits, the Bees bullpen was solid for the second consecutive night. A combination of Jonathan Holder, Reyes Moronta, Cam Vieaux and Jimmy Herget held the Isotopes to just one run in the final five frames to send the game to extras. Ryan Smith got the ball in the 10th inning and crucially stranded the extra-innings runner on his way to picking up his second win of the year.

The Bees look for a series victory over the Isotopes tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m. in the fourth of their six-game series at Smith’s Ballpark this week.
