Five Salt Lake pitchers combined to throw a four-hit shutout as the Bees blanked the Sugar Land Space Cowboys 6-0 on Saturday night. Kenny Rosenberg (2-3) started and went five innings and allowed just two hits with six strikeouts and three walks. After that, Gerardo Reyes, Jonathan Holder, Zack Weiss, and Cesar Valdez each worked a scoreless innings. The five pitchers recorded a season-high fifteen strikeouts. It was Salt Lake's league-leading third shutout of the season.

The Bees took the lead in the first inning, as Trey Cabbage drew a two-out walk and Jake Lamb and Michael Stefanic delivered back-to-back RBI doubles. Salt Lake would add three more runs in the second as Meibrys Viloria doubled, moved to third on a ground out, and scored on a single by David Fletcher. One out later, Cabbage drilled his14th home run of the season to give the Bees a 5-0 lead. They would close out the scoring in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Jo Adell. Stefanic led the Bees with three hits and one run batted in as he extended his franchise record on-base streak to 52 games. Lamb added two hits and one RBI.
