Corina Nelson Named General Manager of the Salt Lake Bees

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (August 3, 2026) – Miller Sports + Entertainment announced today that Corina Nelson has been named General Manager of the Salt Lake Bees. Nelson, who currently serves as vice president of baseball operations, will assume the role while continuing her current responsibilities with the organization.

Nelson succeeds Ty Wardle, who will continue serving as executive vice president of Miller Sports + Entertainment and chief revenue officer, with executive oversight of the Bees and leadership of revenue and partnership strategy across all platform businesses.

With the appointment, Nelson becomes the first female General Manager under Miller Sports + Entertainment ownership. She becomes just the third individual to hold the position since Larry H. Miller purchased the team in 2005, following Ty Wardle (2024-26) and Marc Amicone, who served as General Manager from 2005 to 2024.

Nelson brings more than two decades of leadership experience within the Larry H. Miller organization to the role. She began her career with the company in 2005 as a team member with Mayan Restaurants before spending 17 years with Megaplex, where she advanced through leadership positions as a supervisor, department manager and general manager.

Since joining Miller Sports + Entertainment, Nelson has elevated the fan experience, strengthened community partnerships and supported the successful transition into the Bees' new era at The Ballpark at America First Square in Downtown Daybreak.
